Biggest Seller Of 2010 Rejected By Idol Judges–TWICE!

She’s part of the biggest selling act of 2010 to date, hitting 1 Million sales in late February, but Simon and the Idol judges didn’t think she had enough talent to put her past the first round!

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott tried out for American Idol and was sent packing by Simon and the judges–twice! She’s gone on to sell more albums than ANY OTHER ARTIST so far in 2010 with Lady Antebellum (1,482,000 as of 03-26-10) but the American Idol judges didn’t think she had the talent to make it past the first round!

This should provide some encouragement to those who’ve been sent packing and offer legitimacy to the often spoken reminder that, “This isn’t the end. Keep working at it…”
